This is NOT your typical Yoga Retreat! It is a POWERFUL immersion into Awakening the Sacred Heart through Yoga, Mindfulness, Sacred Sound and Ceremony, as highly effective tools for deep change and harmonious resonance. A deep cleansing from the inside out physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. An empowering experience to reconnect with ourselves, the elements of nature, and rediscover our inner joy and peace. Deepen your practice, feel inspired and activate your highest potential, through the cultivation of awareness and sacred Heart presence.

The beautiful paradise island of Koh Yao Noi, in Phang-Nga Bay, provides the most serene environment for heartfelt experiences to unfold, with less distractions and a nourishing space for you to bring the mind into the wisdom of the heart. The beachfront location of Island Yoga Resort, with traditional Thai teak designs, Yogi Cafe, Restaurant, Shalas and Swimming Pool is a real magical hide-away in which to retreat from daily life.

IMAGINE…waking up to the spectacular sunrise over the ocean with superb views of the towering limestone cliffs in the sea. Breathe in the fresh ocean breeze and feel the warmth and aliveness of a new day in paradise. Indulge in Awakening Vinyasa/Hatha Yoga to strengthen and open the body, cultivating awareness, courage and an attitude of Gratitude and Loving Kindness. Dive deeper into practice, feeling grounded and inspired!

Enjoy peace and tranquility while sharing a delicious vegan/vegetarian healthy breakfast by Yoga Cafe BKK or Thai buffet. Nourished with the play and beauty of island life during the rest of the day, either simply relax on the beach or by the pool, take a massage, sound therapy treatment, or explore your wonderful surroundings and enjoy the fantasy-like nature of this little island gem by bicycle or scooter. Get adventurous with an Island Hopping add-on or Kayaking excursion stumbling across mysterious lagoons and mangroves. On select days we will also be sharing our inclusive exciting workshops!

As the sun sets, late afternoon sessions being more restful, explorative or playful, let you embrace the moment. Harnessing Yin & Self-Myofascial Release or Aerial Yoga. Easing tension, and restoring physical function and mobility. Also release deep rooted toxins with the LOVE and SACRED SOUND of Crystal Bowls, small Gongs, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Drum, Hapi, Voice, Koshis and more daily. Every cell of your body responds to the vibrations activating self-healing mechanisms in the body, melting away stress, reaching deeper states of meditation effortlessly.

In the ART OF CEREMONY we create sacred space and time, opening up to vision, prayer, and intention. Let go of what is no longer serving you in a Full Moon Beach Fire Blessing, a healing ritual that allows us to transform negative thoughts and emotions by releasing them into the fire, and open the heart with a Sacred Cacao Ceremony, inviting in positivity and new ways of being. By the end of this retreat you will feel refreshed, full of life and have made new friends for life!

We thought we would just be doing Yoga, but instead we were taken on a spiritual journey! We left feeling calm and more in touch with ourselves, both physically and soulfully

ISLAND YOGA RESORT, KOH YAO NOI

The retreat is set in the beautiful location of Koh Yao Noi, in Phang Nga Bay, easily accessible by Phuket or Krabi. An idyllic getaway just 30 minutes from Phuket Airport to the pier, and then 30 mins by speedboat. The 140-square-kilometre island is about half the size of neighbouring Koh Yao Yai. Soak up the natural beauty of Koh Yao Noi’s many sandy beaches with superb views of the towering limestone rocks of the bay along the east side, and the mangrove forests, pine trees, rice fields, and a glimpse of sunset on the West. This lesser developed island provides the perfect opportunity to relax and let go.

Island Yoga Retreat is situated on the east of the island by the beach and the mangroves where you can welcome the sunrise. This Resort is all about getting back to nature in an authentic rustic way, with its communal spaces and little areas to relax in a hammock or welcoming café. A moat actually surrounds the retreat which adds to it’s special quality. With three Yoga Shalas, 2 restaurants, swimming pool, and private treatment rooms it certainly is a Yogi’s paradise. You are welcome to book a Thai massage with our qualified Thai practitioner, or a Sound Healing treatment, and Private Yoga Therapy Consultation with Roni.

    A GIFT FOR HOLDING SPACE

Roni brings incredible knowledge and passion to her work. Besides her amazing yoga classes that create a balance of peace, tranquility, and strength, I also attended a private yoga therapy consultation with Roni and I was beyond impressed with her professional knowledge and personal interest in helping me on my path of healing. I am so thankful for her help with my structural needs. For the first time in years, I am pain free due to the changes she added to my practice. Roni has a gift for holding space and helping her students to find balance and self-compassion. I plan to return to learn from her as often as I can!

    INCREDIBLE TEACHER

My love of yoga definitely comes from the lessons I was fortunate enough to have with Tea. She is an excellent teacher, patiently guiding you through the different yoga postures, and her knowledge of them is exceptional. She truly is an incredible teacher and her lessons were an oasis of calm spirituality in an otherwise hectic week. Distance divides us now or I would still be one of her committed pupils! I made such great progress with her and I was so pleased with my increased flexibility and strength. Thanks, Tea, for your amazing, inspiring and calming classes. I miss them so much!
